“Seed For His Harvest” in El Paso Praying For Building

Ray De La Cruz, leader of the church “Seed For His Harvest” in El Paso, Texas (and part of the Rock Tribe) has asked us to stand with them in prayer. There is a possibility that this amazing facility could be given to our “Tribe”. Lets be praying for this gift.

Most of you know about Grandview and how we have been praying for it to be released to Seed for His harvest. In its heyday, Grandview had approx 1,000 members. I have been told the congregation is currently down to about a dozen. The main sanctuary holds about 400 and the loft will accomodate about 200. It has two commercial kitchens, about 50 dorms (beds), a very large daycare, full gymnasium, about 60 classrooms and tons of office space. I was told by a pastor friend that the church would be closing down this year. Two options exist should this occur; the first is that another Baptist church would take over (not likely), the second is that the Baptist organization would release the building (give) to another church.
We are obviously believing for option two. A week ago, the Lord woke me up early in morning and impressed upon me to call Pastor Rick Mendoza (interm pastor, his daddy was senior pastor until his passing, Rick stepped in) and share with him the vision and need for the building. I called and left several messages last week and today Rick returned my call. I told him our story (food dist,church,school) and told him that we were limited in space at our current location. I also told him that we have need for a larger building to accomodate whats being done and for future growth. I then told him that the Father had impressed upon me very strongly that I was to share this with him. When I finished, he replied “Wow,Wow, if the Lord told you that, then I will pray, there are some possibilities but let me pray for a couple of days and I will get back with you”.
Now it’s my turn to say “Wow,Wow”! I have released this to the Lord and I am trusting Him to do something special. I am asking that you please stand with us in asking the Father to give Pastor Rick clarity and conviction to follow through with what I know he will hear. We at Seed have been given much prophetic word and dreams of large buildings being given to us. I firmly believe this is the start. We have a God-sized mandate and this location would help us do Kingdom in so many different and incredible ways. Please pray with us and only forward this to those that you trust and know will be in agreement with us. I will keep you posted.
